Hammer Nutrition celebrates anniversary by assisting Whitefish Trail
Hammer Nutrition recently celebrated its 32nd anniversary, volunteering 32 hours of service to Whitefish Legacy Partners.
Hammer’s volunteer contribution work was aimed at aiding in Whitefish Legacy Partner’s preservation of 42 miles of local bike riding trails used frequently by the company’s own employees.
Hammer Nutrition started in 1987 in San Francisco, California, before moving to Whitefish, where it has remained since 1995.
“I moved to Montana in 1995 with a one employee mail order business and a growing family,” said Brian Frank, founder and CEO of Hammer Nutrition. “This is where my business and kids have grown up. I’m humbled by the modest success we have achieved over the last 32 years, through hard work, dedication and our unwavering commitment to helping our clients achieve optimal health and athletic performance. I think of Hammer Nutrition employees and customers as a big family which is why we are eager to pitch in on a project that helps our community, the people who visit, and our own playground. We love these trails.”
“Our community-minded vision is to ensure conservation, recreation, and education on the lands around Whitefish for future generations,” said Margosia Jadkowski, Program Director of Whitefish Legacy Partners. “The 42-mile Whitefish Trail is the anchor project of our organization and is readily accessible from town by 12 trailheads. With 100,000 trail users and 1,300 education program participants each year, our programs serve to connect the community with our local places worth protecting.”
