2:34 p.m. A shoplifter was caught at a Highway 93 business.
Friday, Oct. 18
12:17 p.m. A man stole another man’s trailer tailgate on Flathead Avenue.
3:45 p.m. A truck with a loose tarp was decorating Montana 40 with trash.
5:19 p.m. A caller was scammed into buying $500 in gift cards for a fraudster.
9:51 p.m. A man in a bathrobe was holding some sort of exercise equipment on Pine Avenue.
Saturday, Oct. 19
12:37 a.m. Someone claimed to have seen the man threatening people at a downtown bar drop acid earlier in the night.
7:22 a.m. The man driving in and out of a parking lot at a Highway 93 business appeared to be on drugs.
9:54 a.m. A man was passed out with a bottle of booze on a Baker Avenue property.
3:56 p.m. A fence on Colorado Avenue caught a curious deer.
11:01 p.m. An underage girl who already had a bottle in hand was denied entry to a downtown bar.
Sunday, Oct. 20
7:25 a.m. A black bear and her two cubs were spotted on Murdock Lane.
11:24 a.m. A man was “floating down the street” and “methed out” on Highway 93.
11:54 a.m. Someone went through the caller’s unlocked vehicle at Patton Lane.
2:05 p.m. Someone moved the caller’s parked vehicle and stole money from inside the center console.
3:24 p.m. A man didn’t understand that pitching a tent on private property could be considered trespassing.
6:52 p.m. A box of shotgun shells was spotted in the middle of Spokane Avenue.
Monday, Oct. 21
9:05 a.m. A caller on Ashar Avenue was reporting “more than normal” bear issues.
12:55 p.m. About $5,000 in two mountain bikes and tires were stolen from Shiloh Avenue.
6:36 p.m. The caller was suspicious of a driver who was slurring his words and also had an open beer can in his vehicle.
6:57 p.m. Someone was spotted scratching a parked rental car with a knife at a Highway 93 business.
8:28 p.m. A man was getting in people’s faces and threatening to hurt himself or others on Central Avenue.
8:46 p.m. A caller was worried that the intentions of a man who picked up homeless women and dropped them off at churches were not “pure.”
9:27 p.m. A handgun was found in the men’s room at a Baker Avenue business.
Tuesday, Oct. 22
3:41 p.m. Items were stolen from a construction site on Highway 93.
8:49 p.m. A stack of wood was moved, not stolen, at a Wisconsin Avenue property.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
8:52 a.m. A caller believed someone had sprayed her door with bear spray.
9:21 a.m. A caller claimed he was officially homeless after Whitefish Police confiscated his tent.
9:31 a.m. A driver requested that police pull him over “because he is crazy.”
