Vote in city election

Citizens of Whitefish: VOTE!!

We have a teeny, tiny municipal election this fall that may speak volumes to the future of our fair city.

Are you happy with the direction our city is growing exponentially? Has our city become too big for its britches? How about the (mis)management of traffic, parking and crowding of downtown, residential streets and the sprawl outward? Are you comfortable visiting businesses downtown during the summer and not bothered by some “visitors” who get a little aggressive with asking for money, a place to stay or food for their pet? Does sustainable tourism sound like something you are interested in? What about sustainable residence? Are you satisfied in which the way our city is traveling according to previously designed master planning for infill of every square inch? Does the status quo need to go?

My property has been newly annexed into the city limits and now I can actually vote on city issues. I will express my voice with my vote. I wish you will vote your voice, too.

The mail in ballots should be arriving shortly. Please be sure to mail yours in, remembering postage and the fact it has to go to Missoula, first.
