The Lady Dogs bounced back after a tough Senior Night loss to Polson with a sweep over Eureka on Thursday.

Whitefish took down Eureka 25-22, 25-21, 25-1.

Kaiah Moore had 13 kills and 18 digs, while Mikenna Ells recorded 13 of the team’s 27 assists and Hope Brown had four of the team’s 10 blocks.

It was a nice boost after a tough loss on Tuesday.

The Lady Dogs hosted Polson for Whitefish’s Senior Night, but fell in sets of 20-25, 25-23, 17-25 and 25-27.

Luci Ridgeway had a strong showing for Whitefish, with three aces and eight kills, and Moore added 12 kills and 25 digs.

The Lady Dogs will get their share of competition this week.

On Tuesday they traveled down the road to face off against Columbia Falls, who defeated them in three sets earlier in the season.

Then on Thursday they’ll travel south to compete in the Missoula County Public Schools Tournament, which runs through Friday.
