The Lady Dogs are gearing up for the post season after wrapping things up in Polson and Libby last week.

Last Thursday the team went down to Polson and came away with a 9-2 win.

Five different Lady Dogs scored in the match, led by Anna Cook’s four goals.

Cook scored in the 15th, 18th, 29th and 54th minute during the win.

Sophie Olson added two goals of her own, and Maya Lacey, Josephine Brown and Emma Barron each added a goal.

Then on Saturday the team capped off the regular season with a 2-0 win in Libby.

Scoring information was not available for that game.

Whitefish finishes the year 8-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play, good for second place in the north behind Columbia Falls.

They’ll open the playoffs with a road match against Loyola, who won the south division with a 7-4-1 overall record.
