Thanks, Richard

My husband Richard Atkinson is a remarkable man. He has been walking for school-related causes on and off for 10 years. Last Thursday morning he crossed 1,000 miles in the name of education! But even more important in my mind is that as he walks, he talks to kids — young kids, older kids — whoever happens to be on the walk with him that day. I watched him on his momentous day — engaged, listening, laughing and very much enjoying his time with school kids. Richard, you are a very special man, a wonderful asset to our community and the love of my life. Thank you for being you.
