Church's Girls Night raises funds for work in Argentina
All girls ages 5-14 are invited to a Girls Fun Night — Argentina, on Friday, Nov. 15, from 6-9 p.m. at Whitefish Assembly, 150 Lamb Lane, Whitefish (off Karrow Drive). Parents are always welcome, too.
Girls Fun Night — Argentina is free. It is going to be a fun-filled evening starting with sampling Argentina foods puchero (soup), potato and chorizo bake, cheese bread, and more, learning about kids in Argentina, making unique crafts specifically from Argentina, learning about the country, playing games, hair braiding, a photo booth with a saddle for those gauchos and colorful costumes, and much more. There will also be door prizes given away. The evening will finish the night off with an ice cream sundae bar.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds for Coins for Kids — Argentina. Coins for Kids is part of BGMC which is Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge and World Missions. Coins for Kids is raising funds for Mission Argentina to build a community center called a Plaza.
Girls are urged to bring their coins and donate them to Coins for Kids — Argentina that night or before year-end.
The organizers need a head count by Wednesday, Nov. 13.
