| November 5, 2019 9:29 AM

Called “one of the best new trios in the music business today,” TAKE3 will play one night only at the O’Shaughnessy Center on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The Whitefish Theatre Company presents the genre-bending trio.

With a flair for the wild and unexpected, TAKE3 brings the refinement of a rigorous classical background and infuses it with rock star charisma. Known for their infectious and down to earth onstage personalities, this threesome continues to leave their indelible mark on captivated crowds around the country performing their arrangements of top pop hits, Americana, and classical favorites.

Their pieces range from Beethoven to the Beatles, Bizet to Imagine Dragons, Leonard Cohen to Stevie Wonder, and more. TAKE3 “brings roof-raising energy to their performances” and is “a perfect assortment of the classics, pop culture and virtuosity.”

Bursting onto the music scene a few years ago, the trio has already performed in most of the 50 states, including shows at several world-renowned venues and performances in conjunction with several world-class symphonies.

Trained at the Colburn, Oberlin and Peabody Conservatories, members of TAKE3 include violinist Lindsay Deutsch, a sought-after soloist who is presently touring with Yanni, pianist Irene Kim, whose performances have been heard across the globe in solo recitals and chamber ensembles, and cellist Leah Metzler, who enjoys a versatile career performing multiple genres of music on acoustic, electric, and baroque cello. Critics have raved that all three members of TAKE3 are “consummate professionals who not only are incredibly warm and personable but put on an amazing show.”
