Twins best Senators in weekend doubleheader

The Glacier Twins picked up a pair of wins over the Helena Senators in a Sunday doubleheader.

The Twins won by scores of 5-4 and 5-3, with Jack Schwaiger and Coby Clark-Dickinson picking up wins on the mound.

Glacier opened up a 3-1 lead through three innings, but the Senators outscored the Twins by the same margin in the next three innings to even the score.

Schwaiger drove in the winning run in the eighth inning of game one.

In game two, Clark-Dickonsin put on a show, going 3-for-3 at the plate for a double, triple and an RBI. He also struck out six and gave up just two hits.

Trenton Tyree contributed two RBI in the second game as well.

This week the Twins will host the Libby Loggers on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Memorial Field. On Saturday they’ll head south for a doubleheader with the Missoula Mavericks, starting at 1 p.m.
