Credit Union announces several staff changes
Whitefish Credit Union has announced changes regarding a few staff positions.
Scott Blodgett was recently promoted to Commercial Loan Manager. In his new role, Blodgett will oversee all commercial lending activities for Whitefish Credit Union.
Blodgett brings over 15 years of professional lending experience to his new role. He joined Whitefish Credit Union in 2015, most recently serving as a Commercial Loan Officer. He previously served in a variety of business lending roles including business loan underwriter, business loan relationship manager, and senior credit officer.
Originally from Coeur d’Alene, he received his bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Idaho. He moved to the Flathead Valley with his wife and two daughters in 2013. They are avid boaters and skiers and enjoy being outdoors year-round.
Jeff Fuller recently joined Whitefish Credit Union as Commercial Loan Officer. In his role, Fuller helps business owners and investors with business loans and lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, and property investments.
Fuller brings over 20 years of financial services experience to the Whitefish Credit Union team. He began his financial services career serving Wells Fargo as credit manager and assistant branch manager in Montana. In 2007, he joined Rocky Mountain Bank in Stevensville, where he served as senior vice president and head of retail and small business banking. Jeff returned to Wells Fargo in 2015 as business banking manager for western Montana.
Fuller earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Montana, a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, and was named one of “20 Under 40” by the Missoulian in 2013.
Alicia Softich is serving in a new role with the credit union as Vice President of Digital Services.
In her role as VP of Digital services, Softich manages the daily operation of all electronic services, including ACH, debit and credit card maintenance, online banking, and wire transfers. She is also responsible for growing Whitefish Credit Unions new call center operations, which launched in November 2018. As Branch Manager, she oversees teller operations, consumer lending services, and branch growth.
Softich joined Whitefish Credit Union in 2013 as EFT Supervisor and was quickly promoted to EFT Manager. The following year, she took on the additional role of Branch Manager of the south Kalispell branch. Softich’s career spans over 15 years in the financial industry.
Softich is a Montana native and Whitefish High School graduate. She has been accepted to the Western Credit Union National Association Management School and expects to complete the program in 2021.
