Police Calls: Flower thief; missing dog located

Thursday, June 13

6:51 a.m. A car on Second Street had been rifled through.

8:53 a.m. A man allegedly stole a bicycle on Baker Ave.

9:37 a.m. A vehicle was gone through and cans were left in a driveway on Fir Ave.

10:27 a.m. A car was parked in the fire lane by the library.

12:01 p.m. A gun and cordless drill were taken on Sixth Street.

1:32 p.m. Panhandlers with a dog were making inappropriate comments to people passing by.

3:15 p.m. Three skateboards were found in a hedge on Geddes Ave.

7:12 p.m. A boat was blocking a fire hydrant on Great Northern Dr.

8:23 p.m. A missing dog named Gunner was located.

Friday, June 14

3:47 p.m. A construction worker on Wisconsin Avenue found a white powder in one of the site’s Porta-Potties.

Saturday, June 15

11 a.m. Someone pulled out flowers from planters outside a Central Avenue business.

Sunday, June 16

3:09 p.m. A caller found two sets of golf cart wheels on Highway 93.

9:14 p.m. A group of people were beating up another person on State Park Road.

Monday, June 17

4:01 p.m. A transient and his growling dog were scaring people on Central Avenue.

8:45 p.m. The same man was “creeping” out customers at a Central Avenue business.

Tuesday, June 18

Multiple phone calls were received about protesters displaying signs with a “disturbing” photo on it in front of a clinic. Others complained about signs blocking the sidewalk.

2:14 p.m. A wallet with a silver feather on it was found on Wisconsin Ave.

3:05 p.m. People in a vehicle on Spokane Avenue were involved in an argument.

4:28 p.m. Threats were made to an employee at a business on Baker Avenue.

4:46 p.m. The air conditioner appeared to be on in a parked car with a dog inside on Highway 93.

8:14 p.m. A suspicious man on Stumptown Loop who was walking sideways and backwards turned out to be doing body movement work as recommended by his physical therapist.

8:49 p.m. An intoxicated man was reportedly coming into town on the train.

10:11 p.m. Loud construction work was taking place at a home on Geddes Avenue.

11:19 p.m. Reckless driving was reported in a parking lot on Seventh Street.

Wednesday, June 19

8:53 a.m. Transients with a skateboard and a dog were panhandling on Baker Ave.

Multiple phone calls were received regarding protesters in front of a clinic including complaints about “graphic” images on protest signs, and that signs were obstructing the view of traffic and blocking the sidewalk.

7:10 p.m. A trash bag that had been on the ground in the tennis courts was placed in a garbage can.

8:07 p.m. A dog with no collar was found on Geddes Ave.

Thursday, June 20

3:24 a.m. Three men who appeared to have been drinking were asked to call it a night at a Highway 93 motel.
