| June 6, 2019 10:30 AM

Montana-based honky-tonk country band Russ Nasset and the Revelators will perform at the Montana Music Event on June 15 at the O’Shaughnessy Center downtown.

The event is a fundraiser for North Valley Music School and also includes a multi-media showcase of local photographers.

Led by the father and son duo of Russ and Sam Nasset, the Revelators have been dishing out their hard driving repertoire of Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, and Rock n’ Roll since 1998. Based in Missoula, they play more than 100 shows per year across the Pacific Northwest. The band also includes Todd Silas on bass and Duke Kirshenmann on drums,

Photographers featured in the event are Steven Gnam, Rick Horn, Philip Granrud, Tammie Lee and Steve Pickel. Montana-centric images are displayed on the big screen during the performance to give the concert goer a full Montana experience.

Tickets for the family-friendly concert are $20 and can be purchased online at northvalleymusicschool.org. There is also reserved table seating that can be purchased $500 for the whole table of six seats. Table seating will include a prereception in the Carolyn Pitman room. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.

All proceeds will help grow the NVMS endowment and scholarship funds. North Valley Music School is Montana’s only nonprofit music school, celebrating 22 years of enriching our community through music education, appreciation and performance.
