- The Purple Pomegranate is featuring work by Bigfork resident, Will Smith during the month of June. Smith is a professional artist and graphic designer, based in Bigfork. He loves creating, whether it’s designing for a Fortune 500 company or painting the Flathead Lake shoreline. Oil painting has always been his passion and Smith works in two completely different ends of the spectrum; representational and fantasy. His subjects are varied, ranging from country and lake shore landscapes to dog portraiture, from illustrative whimsical animals to bison in the wild.

- Whitefish Pottery and Stillwater Gallery presents Beyond the Surface, an exhibition of work from a ceramic artist Megan Sprenger and Wildlife Photographer Shane Conner.
Sprenger graduated with her masters in fine art from Montana State University in Bozeman, with a concentration in ceramics, and received her bachelors from Duluth University in Minnesota in 2016. Her work can be described as her love for travel combined with the history of ceramics and the progression of sciences.
Conner is an up and coming Montana wildlife photographer from Whitefish. In 2005 Conner graduated with his bachelor of science in Fish and Wildlife Management from Montana State University in Bozeman. Conner is a carpenter by trade where he enjoys being able to work with his hands. When he is not working, Conner can be found hiking and exploring the valley, where he discovered his love for photographing Montana’s Wildlife.
