Annual chamber awards event set for Jan. 31

| January 15, 2019 1:44 PM

In keeping with the Whitefish Woodstock theme for this year’s Winter Carnival, the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce’s annual community awards gala will recognize the true rock stars of the community — the businesses and individuals who make Whitefish great.

The chamber event is Thursday, Jan. 31 at the O’Shaughnessy Center.

The evening includes two plus hours of food, drink, Woodstock-themed ice breakers and a half-dozen community awards with a little bit of vintage ‘60s music to help set the stage.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with hearty appetizers and a no-host bar, along with a “Best Dressed Hippie” contest and other Woodstock-themed ice breakers designed to get you into the spirit.

The “Headline Acts” will take the stage beginning at 7 p.m., when the chamber presents the annual Community Service Awards, including the Business of the Year, Tourism Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Great Whitefish Awards.

For reservations or more information, call the Chamber at 862-3501, or register via the online calendar at www.whitefishchamber.org.
