Thanks for Whitefish community support

The June 17 issue of the Pilot front page had an invitation from the Stumptown Art Studio for a fundraiser for Shelby Powell, one of their founders. Shelby fell on May 24 and suffered a severe spinal injury.

Whitefish responded big time. The studio staff did a fantastic job organizing the affair. Local businesses donated items to raffle and auction, and on Friday evening, June 28, 300 Whitefish people attended the affair.

I want to thank the Whitefish community that came together to help Shelby and Charlie, her caretaker 24/7 for over two months. They will return from the Craig Hospital in Denver soon.
