Soccer players earn end of season awards

A slew of Bulldog soccer players received All Conference awards for their play this season.

For the boys, five players earned All State honors.

Xander Burger, Sam Menicke, Casey Schneider, Joseph Houston and Joshua Gunderson all received the award, in addition to first team All Conference honors.

Ian Lacey was also named first team All Conference.

Ian Grover, Colter Upton and Brandon Mendoza all earned second team All Conference awards, and Gabe Menicke earned honorable mention.

The boys capped off their season as state champions, defeating Polson on Saturday in the Class A title match.

For the girls, Josie Windauer, Anna Akey, Anna Cook and Grace Benkelman were named All State and first Team All Conference.

Mary Peterson also received first team All Conference.

Abigail Shaffer, Olivia Potthoff, Josie Schneider and Abby Lowry were all named second team All Conference.

Sami Galbraith received honorable mention.
