The Bulldogs fought hard but fell to Dillon 27-7 in the first round of Class A football playoffs on Friday night.

After going to the locker room with a 13-0 halftime deficit, quarterback Mark Anderson got his team on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run to bring the Dillon lead to six.

However, 14 unanswered points put Dillon ahead for good.

Dillon’s final score came on an interception return in the fourth quarter.

Whitefish finishes the season 5-5, having improved from last year’s 1-7 record. This season was the first time they made the playoffs since winning the state championship in 2015.
