Monday, Sept. 24

5:17 a.m. A black bear was hit by a vehicle.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

9:55 a.m. A caller was hoping an officer could cut a bike lock and remove a bike from outside a Central Avenue business.

10:02 a.m. A local counselor received a threatening voicemail.

6:11 p.m. A Glenwood Road caller was frustrated with two low-flying planes that were scaring the animals.

3:26 p.m. A man was driving on the wrong side of Highway 93 South.

4:20 p.m. A Third Street caller was concerned with the helicopter that had flown overhead “about 50 times.”

Thursday, Sept. 27

12:12 a.m. A caller notified an officer of a black bear near Baker Avenue.

2:34 a.m. A black bear was seen strolling down Waverly Place.

6:33 a.m. Someone threw a rock through a Second Street property’s window.

3:54 p.m. A man in his 60s was counseled on his clothing after walking around in a short dress with nothing on under it near Dakota Avenue.

7:54 p.m. A caller accidentally dialed the police while trying to use his phone to check his blood sugar.

1:18 a.m. A landlord on State Park Road suspected an evicted tenant of putting nails in other tenants’ tires.

11:23 a.m. A caller off Highway 93 was concerned with the men walking around her house who claimed to be with a property management company, though the caller had no association with that company.

3:18 p.m. An elderly man was wandering in and out of traffic on Highway 93 South.

4:14 p.m. A caller thought it was “weird” when a man got out and cut a deer’s throat after another vehicle hit the deer on Minnesota Avenue.
