Monday, Oct. 22

4:06 p.m. A young black bear was wandering around near Whitefish Lake State Park.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

7:17 a.m. A man and his dog were sleeping in his truck in a Wisconsin Avenue parking lot.

4:38 p.m. Four kids were standing on the top of the parking garage.

9:59 p.m. A man accused staff at a Wisconsin Avenue business of stealing his belongings before running away in his swimming trunks.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

2:01 p.m. A man in a big red truck was yelling vulgarities and flipping the caller off after she pulled out onto the road.

2:44 p.m. A truck appeared to have rolled across Karrow Avenue and hit a power transformer.

6:40 p.m. A man was huffing gas from the pump off Wisconsin Avenue.

Thursday, Oct. 25

12:26 p.m. A bear was hanging out in a Glenwood Road garbage can.

8:12 p.m. A caller found a husky near the middle school.

Friday, Oct. 26

8:58 a.m. A man made a threatening comment to a bank teller.

12:25 p.m. A Spokane Avenue caller wanted protesters outside their property removed.

12:52 p.m. The caller was worried about tenants at a Karrow Avenue house doing hard drugs.

3:37 p.m. A group of youths were running around in a Highway 93 South building and throwing rocks at a door.

4:44 p.m. Two bears were spotted in a tree.

5:42 p.m. High school-aged kids were jumping on a roof and walking along the edge of the parking garage.

6:10 p.m. For what the caller said was the fourth time, a bear knocked over a garbage can on Iowa Avenue.

Saturday, Oct. 27

12:41 p.m. A caller wanted to check in with officers about holding a vigil for the victims of a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

11:45 p.m. Two women refused to leave the bathroom at a downtown bar.

Sunday, Oct. 28

10:09 a.m. An elderly man who appeared to be intoxicated fell while walking on Second Street.

2:55 p.m. A downtown business owner wanted officers to administer drug tests after noticing the store smelled like marijuana.

4:44 p.m. A possibly-drunk man was stumbling in and out of the road.

6:24 p.m. Several high school-aged kids were playing “chicken” with the trains off State Park Road.
