| May 22, 2018 1:27 PM

Robert E. White, 86, formerly of Elyria, Ohio, passed peacefully at his winter home in Mesa, Arizona, on March 16, 2018. He was born on Oct. 16, 1931 in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Lea, a sister, Betty Doyle of New Castle, Pennsylvania, a brother Kenneth White of Scottsdale, Arizona, and his children, daughters Linda Chando, Christine Mowrer, both in Arizona, Bobbie Joe Meeks, Luann White (preceded in death) Teri Hixson, and son Robert White, all in Ohio.

With children and their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he leaves a legacy of loved ones far and wide. As a builder and owner of B W Plumbing until his retirement to Whitefish, Montana, he made many friends in many places.

He was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his motorcycle. His love for animals had him and his wife busy in Montana with beef cattle first, and rising horses next. Their paint horses were a beautiful part of the Montana landscape.

He donated his body to Research for Life and cremated remains will be returned to the family. A memorial gathering for celebration of life will take place in Ohio later this summer to swap cherished memories.
