Don't waste gas

Idling wastes about 3.8 million gallons of fuel every day — think about how much that costs! Do you want to pay for gas that you don’t even get to use? You just waste it, and people waste $7.98 million every day on gas they don’t even use. Two minutes of idling equals one mile of driving. Ten seconds of idling releases the equivalent amount of exhaust as two packs of cigarettes in the air. Do you want your children to consume all that bad air? Do you want other children breathing that air? Idling can cause asthma and reduce lung size. We want strong, healthy lungs as I grow up and I bet other kids do as well. When you idle, others are breathing in that air and that air can cause serious damage to your lungs and health. Stop idling, small action, big change.
