| March 13, 2018 2:50 PM

Molly A. Schmidt, a 2012 graduate of Whitefish High School and Flathead Valley Community College, has earned a master of engineering degree in computer science and molecular biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Her thesis work involved studying intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) and weighting protein ensembles using Bayesian statistics and small-angle X-ray scattering data.

She has now joined Relay Therapeutics as a Senior Research Associate. Relay Therapeutics is a Cambridge-based drug discovery company dedicated to understanding the relationship between protein motion and function, building a drug development pipeline centered on protein motion, and ultimately creating more effective medicines for the treatment of multiple diseases.
