Beverley J. Martin
Beverley J. (Clayton) Martin, 76, of Whitefish, Montana. Dearly beloved wife of Chuck Martin, devoted mother of Craig Martin (Amy) and Keith Martin (Lisa). Proud grandmother of Cade Martin, Brett Martin, Jack Martin and Ruthie Martin.
Beverley was preceded in death by her father, Lyman Clayton II, mother Marjorie Clayton and brother Lyman (Skip) Clayton III.
Beverley was born and raised in Wolf Point, Montana. She married Chuck in 1967 and enjoyed 50 years of marriage. Bev attended Montana State University and graduated from the Denver School of Nursing, Denver, Colorado.
Beverley raised her family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was known for her radiant smile and everlasting friendships. Once someone met Bev they never forgot her. She was memorable.
Beverley was devoted to her grandchildren and deeply loved her family. Beverley enjoyed scrapping with friends and volunteering at the North Valley Food Bank in Whitefish. Bev also was a hospice volunteer while living in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Beverley fought a short battle with cancer. Despite her illness she remained positive and maintained extraordinary courage and grace. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to honor Beverley to the North Valley Food Bank, Whitefish, Montana.
