James Madole
Lt. Col. James E. Madole was born in Whitefish, on Aug. 12, 1931.
He passed away June 3, 2017 in Surprise, Arizona. He was a United States Army veteran of 26 years serving six in Germany and two tours in Vietnam. He retired in 1975.
In a second career of 17 years he taught high school English in Colfax, Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey and son Michael.
He is survived by his wife Arlen, daughter Teresa and two grandchildren, Sgt. Kathryn Madole of Colorado and Tracy Madole of New York.
Military services were held at the National Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek, Arizona, on June 16, 2017.
