Bear Aware
The Whitefish Community Center will host a Be Bear Aware educational experience on June 13 at 6 p.m. Retired District Ranger for Glacier National Park Gary Moses will speak. For more information, call 862-4923.
Storytime
Join the residents of The Springs at Whitefish as they welcome toddlers and their caregivers to Whitefish Community Library’s free Toddler Storytime on Wednesday, June 6 at 11 a.m. Stories, songs, and early literacy activities are chosen especially for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old.
“We play and sing and tell stories. It’s a great space for practicing social and early literacy skills, and the residents at the Springs add so much more to Storytime,” said storyteller “Miss Mary” of Whitefish Community Library.

Clay Projects
“Bobbleheads” is the theme for a two-day workshops with guest instructor Loretta Merriman at the Stumptown Art Studio. Students will learn pinch pot techniques to create their whimsical pieces. Art History Club
The Stumptown Art Studio Cultural and Art History Club (adult art discussion) will review studied artist of the past four months on Tuesday, June 12 from 1:30-3 p.m. Join a monthly discussion on world art and artists. Glass Fusing
The Stumptown Art Studio will hold an art work shop on Glass Fusing: “Alchemy Platters.” Using silver foil combined with alchemy clear glass to create striking bronze and gold hues to create an platter.
