Athletes from Montana and around the world competed Sunday as part of the Whitefish Lake Triathlon. Keira Balderston of Manly, Australia won the individual competition on the women’s side, while Whitefish’s own Jeremy Oury took gold for the men.
The triathlon is a sprint race, consisting of a half-mile swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride and a 5-kilometer run. The race is also the only dedicated triathlon in the Flathead Valley.
