Ryan Veneman fist bumps coach Scott Murray after a base hit during Tuesday's clobbering of Libby at Memorial Field.

The Twins got over a disappointing finish to the Ed Gallo tournament pretty quickly.

Last Tuesday they got back at it against the Libby Loggers in a pair of dominating blowouts.

The Twins took the first game 15-0 and won the second 12-0.

In game one, pitchers Coby Clark-Dickenson and Forrest Kobelt combined for a 1-hitter in the five-inning game.

Clark-Dickenson gave up the lone hit in the first inning but struck out six in his 3 2/3 innings. Kobelt added three strikeouts of his own.

Offensively, the Twins put up six runs in the first and third innings alone, with Ryan Veneman leading the bats.

Veneman went 3 for 4 and drove in two runs. Tom Hellwig, Terek Bistodeau and Trenton Tyree each racked up two hits, and Donnie Simms and Caleb Meehan both notched a pair of RBIs.

In game two, Nathan Hader racked up six Ks in 3 2/3 innings on the mound, allowing just a single hit.

Simms had the hot bat for the Twins, singling three times, scoring once and driving in a run. Hellwig and Matt Morrison each notched two hits, and Clark-Dickenson drove in a pair of runs.

Glacier opened fire in the second inning with 10 runs.

Over the weekend the Twins got their shot against some AA talent in the Keith Sell Tournament in Helena.

The Twins went 3-2 at the tournament, beating Butte AA (12-4), Spokane North Stars (10-6) and Helena AA (3-2), but falling to the Great Falls Chargers (12-4) and Lethbridge (6-1).

This week they’ll host the Sapa Johnsrud Tournament at Memorial Field from Tuesday through Friday.
