Audrey Delight Richards
Audrey Richards, 83, of Columbia Falls, Montana passed away surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 20, 2018.
Audrey Delight was born Aug. 21, 1934 on the family farm near Dirscoll Lake, Saskatchewan, to Peter and Katherine Erlandson.
Audrey attained her teaching and secretarial degrees at Northern Montana College in Havre where she met and married James on Nov. 3, 1956. She taught in the community while raising her four children and was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
In 1983 they moved to the Kalispell area where she enjoyed family barbecues, plays in Bigfork and a variety of musical entertainment. She also enjoyed her trips to Canada to be with her family.
Mom had a heart of Gold. She loved life, her children, grandchildren, and her pets. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband James and her beloved daughter Cynthia.
Audrey is survived by her daughters, Alison Richards of Whitefish, Becky Lee (Mark) of Havre, her son James (Brad) Richards of Whitefish, and her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her viewing will be held on Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. A private family burial will follow. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 3 at Christ Lutheran Church, 5150 River Lakes Parkway Whitefish, Montana.
Memorials in Audrey’s honor may be made to Meals on Wheels or any type of animal rescue/shelter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
