Saddened by clinic

| February 6, 2018 2:02 PM

When my children learned about World War II they immediately wanted to know how the horrors of the Holocaust could have happened. Why didn’t anyone stop the madness? People in Germany had access to information about the concentration camps yet many people didn’t know (and therefore didn’t take action) because they didn’t want to know. Today, we all know abortion exists. But many of us choose not to take a closer look at this painful reality. Close to one million innocent children die in the United States each year. Less than 1 percent of these abortions are due to rape or incest.

In the state of Montana abortions are available to women up to 22 weeks gestation. And now, at “All Families Healthcare” babies up to 12 weeks gestation can also be “terminated.” If you take the time to look at this company’s website it is obvious that despite their chosen title, health and family are the last things this new business will provide and promote in Whitefish.

I am saddened and frankly sickened to know that this “opportunity” will now be available to women right here on Spokane Avenue. It is legal. But is this really something we want in our town?

True freedom comes from giving women the support and care they need to carry their pregnancies to term, regardless of their circumstances. Despite the propaganda, an abortion clinic is not something that exists if “Love Lives Here.” Don’t be a bystander. Discourage this business from opening its doors in Whitefish.
