| December 26, 2018 8:08 AM

There’s plenty happening at Whitefish Mountain Resort during the holiday season.

Nigh skiing begins on Wednesday, Dec. 26 and runs through Monday, Dec. 31. From 4-8:30 p.m. ride on Chairs 2, 3 and 6. Tickets are $24 or included on 2018/19 season pass.

On Friday, Dec. 28 Cruise the Blues for a chance to win prizes just for a day spent on the slopes. Earn stamps for skiing a variety of runs throughout the day, and have fun while entering to win prizes. Check-in at the tent at the bottom of Chairs 1 and 2, go skiing and riding and then come to the party with live music with the Brent Jameson Duo at the Base Lodge.

On Dec. 31 is the New Year’s Eve Rail Jam, Torchlight Parade and fireworks show. The spectator-friendly Rail Jam begins at 5:15 p.m. at the bottom of Ed’s Run. Up to 60 skiers and snowboarders will hit rails and boxes on a custom built rail jam venue. Compete for a $1,000 cash purse.

Following the Rail Jam, watch or enter the “Dash for Cash” where participants must complete a whacky obstacle course. Next, enjoy the Torchlight Parade followed immediately by a the fireworks show.
