Annual Ski with Maggie day set for Dec. 27

Olympian and Whitefish native Maggie Voisin will continue the tradition of Ski with Maggie day on Thursday, Dec. 27 at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Kids of all ages can meet at the top of Chair 2 between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to make runs with the slopestyle champion, fresh off the podium at the Dew Tour. Autograph signing and poster give away will follow at Ed & Mully’s at 3 p.m. The event is free, however participants must have a lift ticket or ski pass to participate.

Voisin is a U.S. Freeski Pro Team member. The two-time Olympian nailed down a bronze medal in the women’s slopestyle skiing competition at the Dew Tour stop in Breckenridge, Colorado, recently. Her run included a massive left rodeo 900 mute, and she was the only American on the podium.
