Pilot delivery delayed due to Post Office closure

Federal offices including the United States Post Office will be closed on Wednesday in honor of the late former President George Herbert Walker Bush.
The closure of the Post Office will impact the delivery of the Wednesday, Dec. 5 edition of the Pilot.
The newspaper will print as scheduled, but delivery through the mail to subscribers will likely occur on Thursday. The Pilot apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, and notes that the paper will still be available at newsstands on Wednesday.
Bush died at age 94 on Friday. A state funeral for Bush is being held in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday and is a day of mourning for the former president.
