Current elementary building safety concern

Anyone who attended the pubic meeting at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center last week went away from there with many thoughts. One that was foremost in my mind was the absolute passion our community has for the safety of our kids.
So frankly, I am puzzled that there are people who question the need for a new elementary school.
If the failing roof and failing boilers don’t call for immediate attention before something horrible happens, I don’t know what does.
Muldown is in a word awesome — what an inspiring place to learn. But until we bring the infrastructure up to par with a new building, we are running the risk of endangering the safety of our kids and our teachers in a way that may be tragic.
