The Bulldogs are looking for a big homecoming win this week after another tough loss, this time falling to Butte Central 49-7.

A 35-point second quarter opened the floodgates early on. Central’s Cade Holter threw for two touchdowns and ran for three more in the win.

Whitefish quarterback Forrest Kobelt tallied the Bulldogs’ lone touchdown, running the ball in from the five-yard-line in the final quarter.

Kobelt finished with 14 rushes for 64 yards.

Whitefish (0-3) returns to Memorial Field for homecoming this week, hosting Corvallis. Corvallis currently sits on top of the Southwest A conference with three wins and no losses.
