Principal thanks voters for Muldown support

| October 10, 2017 4:41 PM

Today, as I stood out on the playground watching the students exit Muldown Elementary, I could not help but be overwhelmed by the tremendous outpouring of community support for our students and staff with the passing of the bond to build a new Muldown Elementary School.

We are looking forward to the next planning phase to address continued enrollment growth, school safety and security, and an enhanced learning environment.

Our students, families, and community will benefit from continued excellent school programs and services as we progress into the planning and building phase with our architects and community leaders. We know that trust is very important and we will work hard to keep that trust you have placed in us.

On April 5, 1988, L.A. Muldown expressed that “Whitefish has had a long history of an exceptionally progressive attitude regarding education.” That belief in the power of public education and the strong foundation it provides for our community still holds true today.

I personally want to thank our voters for their ongoing support of Whitefish Schools.

With deep appreciation,

Linda Whitright

Muldown School Principal
