Winter Market features local vendors
The city of Whitefish is holding its third annual Whitefish Winter Market with local vendors at the Roy Duff Memorial Armory on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The Whitefish Winter Market is excited to offer an expanded selling season for locally grown and produced products including jams, chocolates, salsa, coffee and garlic. The market will also feature a wide array of handmade jewelry, clothing, accessories, woodwork, photography, art and soaps.
This year there will be a room set up for kids to do holiday crafts so plan to bring the whole family. Tasty soups from the Cuisine Machine and hot drinks will also be available.
Proceeds from the Whitefish Winter Market benefit Whitefish Parks and Recreation youth programs. The city has been offering a wide variety of programs for youth in the community including sports, before and after school programs, summer camp and volunteer programs. Youth programs have gained momentum in the past six years and provide vital support for working families and engage children in healthy, physical activities. With support from sponsors and events like the Whitefish Winter Market, the Parks and Recreation Department strives to give every child the opportunity to participate in its programs.
