Foundation celebrates Giving Tuesday
The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, commonly referred to as Giving Tuesday, is a global day of giving.
The Whitefish Community Foundation is putting its own spin on the day by inviting the public to join in for a Facebook live event as an opportunity for local nonprofits to give thanks.
Local nonprofit leaders will be live for this event talking about the important, and in many cases critical work they are doing in the Flathead Valley. Nonprofits that participated in the Great Fish Community Challenge have been able to move forward with vital projects, in a large part due to the tremendous outpouring of support received through this year’s Great Fish Community Challenge.
Join this event in person or over Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WhitefishCommunity/, on Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The live event will be held at the newly remodeled 100 Central building, in the Underscore Art Gallery (the new building next to Montana Coffee Traders in Whitefish). Hot coffee and refreshments will be served.
