Skulason Moe

Skulason Moe’s life journey ended on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18. He left behind his wife of 63 years, Jeanne and children Richardson, Erik and wife Lisa, Kristine and her late husband Mark, Kathryn and husband Raymond and Sonya and her husband Bill. Also seven grandchildren Bridget and husband Marcus, Andrew and wife Becca, Taylor, Erin, Melissa, Alec and Brittany. Also by his sister, Karen Moe and many nieces and nephews.

Skuli was a farmer and he loved the land. He was a graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in economics where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Skuli was a Boy Scout from Cubs through the rank of Eagle Scout. He was so proud of his sons and grandsons who reached the rank of Eagle Scout also. As an adult he was very active in the Wood Badge program and received the Silver Beaver for service to Scouting. Education for his children was extremely important to Skuli, especially for his daughters who have become confident and independent women. Skuli was a lover of classical music and was a collector of works by Montana artists. He was a faithful Lutheran and was an active member in every church that he attended.

Memorial services are planned in the future.
