Foundation thanks WHS students
The Nate Chute Foundation would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Whitefish High School class of 2017 for their generous donation to youth suicide prevention and awareness efforts.
During graduation, seniors placed money into a jar and chose the NCF as one of their designated charities. We would also like to recognize and thank the WHS Student Council for hosting the first Mental Health Awareness Week at WHS in May.
The efforts and dedication of the student body to bring light to important mental health issues facing our youth is commendable. The students interacted in a professional and mature manner and we were impressed with them every step of the way. The Mental Health Awareness week also resulted in a donation to the NCF from participating members of the entire student body.
The Nate Chute Foundation honors the WHS student body for working to break the stigma surrounding youth mental health. You are truly a remarkable group of young people and we are grateful for your support.
