The Lady Bulldogs are still looking for their first win of the season after falling to Columbia Falls and Thompson Falls last week.

Whitefish hosted the Wildkats Thursday night in the Northwest A conference opener. The Wildkat’s fast-paced offense proved too much for the Lady Dogs and Columbia Falls walked away with a 65-22 victory. Libby Nagler led Whitefish with eight points, and Hope Brown, Anissa Brown and Payton Kastella all added four points each. For Columbia Falls, Peyton Kehr had 17 and Cydney Finberg and Kiara Burlage each added 14.

On Saturday, the Lady Dogs traveled to Thompson Falls for the nonconference matchup, but couldn’t keep up with the Blue Hawks and lost 55-30. Kit Anderson and Becca Catina led the way for Whitefish with five points each, and Annisa Brown, Diana Vasquez, Marlee Bender and Payton Kastella each added four.
