The Lady Bulldogs are off and running after a strong showing at the Northwest vs. Southwest Tip-off Tournament in Frenchtown last week.

The team finished second behind Libby, taking down Hamilton, Butte Central, Stevensville and Frenchtown twice each. The team split with Corvallis and Dillon.

Head coach Jackie Fuller said she was proud to see the way her team came together in the early season test.

“I felt the girls played very well and worked together,” Fuller said. “We had several girls who did not have any varsity experience and came out and played well.”

The Lady Dogs open their season at home with Libby on Friday at Whitefish High School at 7:15 p.m.
