Lady Dogs sweep past Frenchtown

Whitefish girls volleyball swept Frenchtown (0-5) in a strong showing Thursday.

The Lady Bulldogs went 25-23, 25-10, 25-14 in three sets. Junior Cailyn Ross had four of Whitefish’s five blocks. Senior Libby Nagler had three of the team’s seven aces and also led with 15 assists. Whitefish had 20 kills to Frenchtown’s 13.

The Lady Dogs host Polson (1-2) Thursday at 7:15 p.m. in this season’s homecoming matchup.

Kills – Whitefish 20 (Four with four), Frenchtown 13 (Allison Hochhalter 5). Blocks – Whitefish 5 (Cailyn Ross 4), Frenchtown 4 (Emilie Hinrichs). Digs – Whitefish 53 (Kylie Larsen 15, Serena Hemingson 15), Frenchtown 41 (Maddy Boller 13). Assists – Whitefish 19 (Libby Nagler 15), Frenchtown 13 (Kylie Willet 9). Aces – Whitefish 7 (Nagler 3), Frenchtown 7 (Lexi Statlen 3).
