Thankful for donation

| September 13, 2016 8:39 PM

It was an act of amazing graciousness when Collision Craft donated a vehicle to the Flathead Youth Home.

For over a year, the Flathead Youth Home has been without a second vehicle to transport their full house of kids to the many appointments and meetings they have throughout any given day. Often, transportation required driving from one end of the Valley to another, multiple times a day. Limited to one van for eight kids, that often meant kids were left waiting around, arrived late, or simply could not participate in an event. Staff needed to use their own vehicles and fuel costs were extensive when the van was required to transport even just a few youth.

Now, with the donation of a car from Collision Craft, morning school runs will not have the urgency of getting eight kids to varying schools before the bell rings.

They will get to meetings on time, be picked up without long waits and participate in after-school activities and community events.

We are so grateful to Gene Dziza and Collision Craft for so tangibly supporting our care for the kids in this community who need our support.
