Theft from Thrift Haus impedes mission to help

| October 26, 2016 8:31 AM

The Soroptimist International of Whitefish donates over $200,000 every year to deserving non-profits and individuals, including many schools, womens shelters and most recently Doctors Without Borders.

We do this very important work through your donations to our Thrift Haus.

In the past 12 months we have seen theft in the front and back of our store increase exponentially. This makes our volunteer work even more challenging and reduces the amount of money we can donate back into our community.

We are asking for your help.

Please limit your donations to the hours in which we are open: Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

In addition, if you see anything suspicious, please call the Whitefish Police Dept at 863-2420 or the Thrift Haus at 862-3330. Thank you again for all your support.
