George Bristol accepts a check from Don Kaltschmidt.

Don K Subaru recently made a donation to Muldown Elementary and the Whitefish Christian Academy.

The money was raised as part of the Subaru Loves to Learn event during August and represents a portion of every tire rotation or car sold at the dealership during that month.

“We try very hard to honor our commitment to community involvement,” said Don Kaltschmidt of Don “K” Whitefish. “We appreciate the financial pressures that our schools are facing and are pleased that this contribution will relieve some of the burden on the administrators, families and students served by these exemplary schools.”

Don Kaltschmidt recently presented checks to Muldown Principal Linda Whitright and Whitefish Christian Academy Headmaster George Bristol.

“We are very grateful to Don ‘K’ and his team for their generous donation,” Whitright said. “As with all schools, our budgets are very tight and this kind of community-spirited involvement allows us to put our precious dollars in the classroom where they can do the most good. We thank all who helped make this possible.”

“We are grateful for this donation that will be used to aide those students who attend our academy on scholarships,” Bristol said. “As with all schools, there is never enough money to do all that we would like to, so this donation will go a long way to making school supplies easier to obtain for our students and their families.”
