A live simulcast featuring the Extraordinary Women Ministries’ 2016 women’s conference will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14 and 15, at Christ Lutheran Church, 5150 River Lakes Parkway, in Whitefish.

Hours on Friday are 7 to 9 p.m. On Saturday the event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and includes lunch and snacks.

The simulcast will feature several well-known women who will provide resources that equip women to handle life’s difficulties while enriching their lives, encouraging their souls and expanding their ministries.

Candace Cameron Bure, an actress, producer, best-selling author and inspirational speaker, is among the most well-known women featured in the simulcast. Known to millions from her role as D.J.Tanner on the family sitcom “Full House,” Bure is both outspoken and passionate about her family and faith.

Other featured “extraordinary” women include Liz Curtis Higgs, an author of more than 30 books who is known as an inspirational encourager; Nicole Johnson, a best-selling author, performer and motivational speaker whose “Fresh Brewed Life” message gives hope to hardworking, overextended women everywhere; Kasey Van Norman, an author and speaker whose ministry passion is to reach those who are far from God and ignite a spiritual flame in those who know Him; and Ann Voskamp, an author, blogger and speaker named by Christianity Today as one of 50 women most shaping culture and the church today.

Joe White, president of Kanakuk Kamps and founder of Kids Across America and Cross International, also is in the speaker line-up. Michael O’Brien, former lead singer of the Christian band NewSong and now a solo artist, will provide musical entertainment.

Extraordinary Women’s vision is to draw women closer to the heart of God and His extraordinary plan for their daily lives.
