10:40 a.m. A cat sitter arrived to find a door standing wide open and a fan and light on at a Granite Drive home.

12:20 p.m. A dog on East Second Street was running up to a fence and barking as someone walking by with their dog.

12:30 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Baker Avenue.

2:32 p.m. A caller said it is “just plain disgusting” that a deer or elk head was hanging from the second floor balcony of a home on Waverly Place.

3:45 p.m. A cellphone was left at a Central Avenue restaurant.
