Catina, Cote named to Class A All-State team

Two Whitefish football players have been selected for the Class A All-State team.

Fullback Travis Catina and running back Tyler Cote earned the honor for their play this season. Both senior players were selected for first team All Conference for offense and defense as well, Catina for fullback and linebacker and Cote for running back and cornerback.

Sophomore kicker Carver Gilman also earned first team All Conference honors and seniors Patrick McGready (tackle, defensive end) and Sawyer Silliker (wide receiver, linebacker) received second team conference honors.

The Bulldogs finished the season with a 3-6 overall record, going 1-2 in Northwest A conference play for third place.
