Don't forget EP

I have been an avid fan of Whitefish girls soccer for decades. In fact, my husband Richard was the original coach for this exceptional program.

I have watched with great pride the efforts of Haley Nicholson, both on the soccer pitch and football field. She’s an amazing talent. But our current coach Benedict made a glaring error when he recently stated that Haley is “the most prolific goal scorer in Montana Class A history.” Has coach Benedict never noticed the street sign at Smith Fields that says “101 EP Drive?” Has he never heard of Elizabeth Pitman who holds the Class A record for goals scored at 101? Surely she cannot be forgotten in our Whitefish soccer history. She was an amazing talent, too.
