Monday, May 2

11:23 a.m. A man was advised to stop contacting his ex-girlfriend.

11:16 p.m. A man and woman told police they were being followed by a transient while walking home on East 2nd Street.

Tuesday, May 3

8:51 a.m. A man with a guitar and another man with a duffel bag were seen chasing each other in a vacant building along Highway 93 South. Both men were cited and removed from the building.

1:27 p.m. Report of a man making inappropriate comments to employees at a Central Avenue business.

3:06 p.m. Report of a suspicious man asking students for water outside of the middle school.

9:11 p.m. Report of a strange intoxicated man wielding two cans of bear spray on Baker Avenue.

Wednesday, May 4

11:10 a.m. A West 2nd resident was warned about leaving a garbage container out on the street.

2:36 p.m. A man told police he located some horse manure on West 18th Street that may be from a horse running loose in the area.

2:39 p.m. A woman told police that a man had been borrowing her truck since August and had not returned it. The man’s wife told police that the woman owes them money for a boob job and that she’s never asked to have the truck returned. The dispute was resolved and the pickup returned.

8:48 p.m. Report of a bearded man in high heels acting suspiciously on Shiloh Avenue.

Thursday, May 5

8:18 a.m. A Tumblehome resident reported someone opening the gate in the middle of the night to let his dogs out. He was going to set up a security camera to catch the suspect.

8:18 a.m. A man was cited for driving a motorcycle recklessly on Highway 93 South.

6:50 p.m. A manhole cover was off its hole on Highway 93 West.

7:16 p.m. An intoxicated woman was counseled about her disorderly behavior. She was taken to a hotel for the night.

11:01 p.m. A woman reported being followed by a white SUV.

Friday, May 6

8:11 p.m. Police were called following a physical altercation between two friends. The men declined to press charges and decided to get along for the night.

9:39 p.m. Police were unable to locate a suspicious person crouching along O’Brien Avenue.

Saturday, May 7

4:02 a.m. Couch cushions caught fire at a vacant home on East 2nd Street. The cushions were stacked next to a stove.

7:37 p.m. The back window was smashed out of an older model SUV parked downtown.

8:03 p.m. A motorcycle and black BMW were seen racing over 100 mph on Stumptown Loop.

Sunday, May 8

7 p.m. A man found $11 along East 1st Street.

7:24 p.m. A fence blew over and was blocking River Lakes Parkway.
